FREEWARE - Auto save your Excel, Word and PowerPoint docs
Posted by admin on Nov 23, 2007
These utilities are completely FREE. They will never expire, you don’t have to register them and you can share them with whomever you like. I wrote them for some people I work with who lost hours of work and wanted a simple way to hopefully prevent this from happening again.
These little utilities will prompt you to Save all your Excel, Word or PowerPoint (depending on which one(s) you have running) documents at an interval you set. Simply start the utility by double clicking the EXE file and then input how many minutes you would like between prompts to Save. You can run all of them at the same time and put in different time intervals for each - it’s up to you. You won’t be asked for a file name unless it’s a new document you haven’t saved yet in which case you will choose where to save it and what to call it. If at any point you answer no to the prompt to save, no saving will be done and the utility will stop running. You can restart it at any time.
***Important to Remember***
Once you Save your work in Excel or PowerPoint you will be unable to click Undo. This is a feature of the Office programs not the AutoSaver Utilities
